Concept:

Our being is not only a union of organs.

We are the result of something much more complex.

Since we were born, we are spinning experiences, emotions, feelings.

We are what we have woven and what we have left ahead of us for weaving.

 

Bio:

Mila Hajjar was born in Rome, Italy, and lived her youth in Venezuela. She graduated with honors in architecture in the faculty Federico II of Naples, Italy. She did further studies at the University Szombathely in Hungary and in the Carabobo University in Venezuela. As an artist she has performed more than a hundred and fifty exhibitions, including individual and collectives, in the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia. She has won several awards including the Soho International Art of New York, USA, the International Art Show d 'Estiu Catalonia, Spain, and first prize in the Hall of Art Maneiro Venezuela. She currently lives in Miami, Florida, USA.

About her art she says: "I paint when I express what I feel beyond words".

Somos el resultado de algo mucho más complejo.

Desde que nacimos, vamos hilando experiencias,

emociones, sentimientos.

Somos lo que hemos tejido y lo que nos falta por tejer.

Biografía:

Mila Hajjar nació en Roma, Italia, y vivió su juventud en Venezuela. Se graduó con honores en arquitectura en la facultad Federico II de Nápoles, Italia. Realizó otros estudios en la Universidad Szombathely en Hungría y en la Universidad Carabobo, en Venezuela.  Como artista plástico ha realizado más de ciento cincuenta exposiciones, entre individuales y colectivas, en Estados Unidos, Europa, América latina y Asia. Ha obtenido varios premios entre los cuales el Soho International Art de New York, USA, el International Art Show d 'Estiu Catalonia, España, y el primer premio en el Salón de Arte Maneiro de Venezuela. Actualmente vive en Miami.

Sobre su arte dice: “Pinto cuando quiero expresar lo que siento más allá de las palabras”.
