Concept:

As the woman creates life and happiness through motherhood, Nature gives us life through their seas, mountains, plants, etc., giving us life, joy and sustenance.

This concept is represented by the tobacco leaves that gave life and sustenance to many people, to the point that came to convert Cuba, my land, in the land of the world’s best tobacco.

 

Bio:

She was born in 1944 in San Luis Pinar de Rio, Cuba, where she graduated from preschool teacher. She immigrated to Miami in 1962 and began her art studies in 2006 in the Miami Art Club. With a majestic Oil painting technique, Ana Gloria Castellanos represents nature in its diversity.

 

What does it means for you to participate in “Mirada de Mujer Miami”?

It has given me the opportunity to share and express, along with other amazing artists, what the woman is: a unique and majestic creation of God, whose existence and actions manifest the genuine love within her.

Obra:  Relación de la mujer y la naturaleza.

Concepto:

Como la mujer crea vida y alegrías a través de la maternidad,

 mientras la naturaleza nos

da vida a través de sus mares , montañas , plantas  etc.,

 regalándonos vida, alegría y sustento.

 Ese concepto es representado por las hojas de tabaco

que le dieron vida y sustento a tantas personas, a tal punto que llegaron a

convertir a Cuba, mi tierra ,en la tierra del mejor tabaco del mundo.

Biografía:

Nació en San Luis Pinal de Rio, Cuba, en  1944. Allí se graduó de maestra de preescolar.  Emigró a Miami en 1962. Inició sus estudios de arte en el 2006 en el Miami Art Club. Con una majestuosa  técnica del óleo, Ana Gloria Castellanos,  representa la naturaleza  en su diversidad.
